Hidden gem in Wisconsin. The best meal I had all week! Service is outstanding. Decor makes it feel like home with a rustic feel. Their cheese platter is a must order. Local cheeses are accompanied by olives, nuts, dried fruit, and oh the honey!! Perfectly paired for each cheese type. Also had the scallops with parsnip purée and sautéed spinach and bacon. Scallops were jumbo size, perfectly cooked, and seared. Finally, their home baked bread basket was such a treat and complimentary! You must order their Bleu fries, their specialty of fries sprinkled with Parmesan and herbs. I will come here again!

Bleu is the type of establishment you might find in the hip food neighborhoods of Milwaukee - It's a beautiful space, reclaimed wood, vintage lighting. A great place for a date. The menu is inspiring and what comes out of the kitchen delivers on flavors. The bacon wrapped figs are delicious. Savory and sweet intertwined. I had the scallops- which were creamy and sweet. They have a nice list of craft cocktails. I had the smokey margarita. I would suggest it- there is just a hint of smoke. Another winner is their caramel carrot cake. Nice twist on a classic.

Excellent drinks and good food. Relative to other GB options, Bleu is five stars. The menu is creative and the service is above average. The menu is solid if not a bit overpriced. To be fair, overpriced entrees are common in GB (for example, steaks tend to cost an average of $8 more in GB than Chicago). Bleu is where you should go if you are looking for good drinks and food with a group of friends who are comfortable paying for quality. Bleu is not a place to visit if you can't hear very well or are looking for a quick, simple dinner. Do get a cocktail. Do not get the club sandwich (nothing special) .

We went here for lunch and this was my second time back. It was nice enough that we sat outside on the deck and ate our meal. The fresh squeezed lemonade hit the spot. They also have a great selection of wine. We had the lobster bisque, a pesto grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwich. Delicious. This place is a little hard to find, but a nice upscale place for a lunch date or dinner date.

Had a lovely dinner here while in Green Bay for work. Very cool atmosphere, professional staff, and delicious food. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The specialty salad of heirloom tomatoes and peaches sounded amazing, but the produce failed to deliver. That said, this place had the best crab cake I've ever had and the arugula salad was to die for. Truly, I've never eaten a better arugula leaf!

This was a great experience. It is trendy in design with reclaimed wood decor, open kitchen and gathering tables. Bleu was a tripe crown menu winner: great creative menu, innovative cocktail menu and a solid craft beer menu. John was our server as we sat at the bar for dinner. Bleu is an open space so no matter where you sit it is like joining a large group of friends. John knew the menu well and made great recommendations. Based on what we tried... the big winner were the crab cakes and my least favorite was the wedge salad (you kind of have to put it together yourself) but it all tasted amazing. I look forward to many more visits to Bleu.

The ambiance is comfortable and trendy. They have decent service, it wasn't anything above standards and the menu selections are good for a restaurant in a small town. My Classic Caesar was lacking since I thought since it was called a "classic" it would have been served with anchovies but it wasn't. The pan seared duck was cooked well and juicy. The cod dish was ok, the fish was over cooked and some what dry. I expected more since the menu appears to be pretty ambitious but oh well.

Uniquely designed decor matched well with the outstanding and beautifully prepared food! Overall, the floor plan does a great job showing off the classy yet laid-back environment. Make sure to look up and see the doors lining the ceiling and the clawfoot tables. We chose our first experience at Bleu to be on a Saturday afternoon. There were only 3 other tables that were occupied and we were able to choose the table we sat at so we weren't sat directly next to another table in a mostly empty restaurant which was really nice. One of the options available for lunch is the $14 two course and $16 three course meal, we chose options off the smaller, medium and bigger menu instead. I had the lobster bisque, roasted root vegetable salad and the crab cake. My friend had the soup of the day (chicken and wild rice soup), the baby berg wedge salad and the medjool dates. Each course was better than the one before and was expertly prepared and creatively presented! I would highly recommend any of these options to anyone! $9 is usually more than what I would pay for a martini in this area but the albino peach cosmo was outstanding! There were a few times our server was absent when we were looking for her to come around so my only hope would be for someone more attentive next time but otherwise she was friendly and our order was correct, and delivered in a timely manner. Can't wait to come back, there were so many other things on the menu that looked fantastic!

The decor is immediately inviting- a reclaimed granary with gorgeous wood floors and suspended doors for a ceiling. The kitchen is exposed- so there's an intimacy between those preparing your food and those eating it. Wait staff is attentive, friendly, helpful. Food can be great, bordering on amazing. It can also be surprisingly not. A ribeye with gnocchi was sublime. In fact, I've never eaten better ribeye, gnocchi, or even broccolini in my life! But scallops were served in a soupy casserole of puréed parsnips, which was odd. So- ask lots of questions about the menu when you go as to how things are prepared. I never guessed in a million years that the scallops would be IN the parsnips. I will go back- eating that ribeye and the dessert gives me hope there are lots of great food discoveries to be made there. But be aware that there will be experiments. Ask questions if you want to be assured of a sublime experience.

Good service. Great food. Amazing drinks. For the quality of the food the price isnt bad. The open kitchen is a cool feature. Has a fine dining feel to it so if your a picky eater, it isnt the easiest thing to deal with when looking at the relatively small menu. If thats not the case, i haven't had one thing on the menu id give less than a 7/10.

Reservation made 1 day in advance; we were seated promptly upon arrival. Drinks ordered (they have a full bar); but no appetizers ordered - although there was a great selection of them on the menu. Ordered Rainbow Trout New Orleans style; other member of the party ordered Confit Chicken. Warm fresh bread with herb butter on the side brought to the table just after the drinks. Short wait for the mains - and we were not disappointed at all with the choices! Rainbow Trout was lightly breaded/pan fried and served with Andouille sausage over white rice. Confit Chicken was served with potato dumplings and fresh green beans. Both dishes were VERY tasty and made us members (again) of the "clean plate club." Wait service was attentive throughout the meal with water & checking on our meal. Of the desserts offered, we both ordered a Maple Creme Brulee (served with fresh berries)...awesome! Total before gratuity was just over $75. Nice atmosphere; will visit again soon!

Classy & relaxing. I've visited during the day with a gaggle of gal-pals, by myself for a cocktail(s) and on what turned out to be a great date. Bleu has never missed. Crab cakes, the cheese platter, the scallops, the bacon wrapped figs (dear lord, so good) were hits with my crowd. The atmosphere generally has a happy buzz at night and is beautifully relaxing during the day. Whoever pulled off the great mix of modern & rustic furnishings earns a win.

Great atmosphere! You do not feel like you are in GB. Love that! Our food was so good:) highly recommend beef sliders and the crab cake. Bleu is a must try!!!

I'm reviewing this for those who have experienced true 5-star dining. Dress code- casual Staff is amateur although very kind. Decor is barn house, uncomfortable chairs Tables situated side by side, @ 1.5' apart Ice in water glasses Feature & dessert menus handed out on basic printer paper Good selections & variety on wine list Food presentation is attractive Bread was fresh, flavorless butter (whipped with oil I believe) Crab cake, good- slightly salty Fried goat cheese, fair- similar to mozz sticks, delicate texture & true flavor of goat cheese lost in this preparation Lobster, fair- a little tough Flourless chocolate cake, fair- eggs not tempered into mixture = coagulated texture. Accompanying cream emulsion had a granular texture

Recently came back to Bleu for the second time, and I have to say, it was equally delicious. We came in at about 9:30 pm without a reservation on a Friday night, and we were seated immediately. The mussels are amazing, but in reality their entire menu is on-par with the best. I ordered the duck, and it was really moist with a nice crispy skin. It came with a unique twist on a potato pancake which wasn't terrible, I just wasn't a huge fan. It lacked 'flavor', and tasted more along the lines of hasbrowns. My better half ordered the mushroom ravioli and once again, done the way I would expect. The service was decent, and the bar was responsive. Overall it's a place worth visiting if you're looking for a nice upscale dinner. And one more thing - the beautiful part of this place is that no matter how you're dressed - blue jeans and a polo, or a suit and bow tie, you feel welcomed.

Very pleased with the wine , a nice pinot noir from Bordeaux. Pleasantly surprised at the $6.00 per glass price. Salad was okay. Waiting on the main course pan seared scallops. Very nice, went well with the wine. Will too off meal with bananas foster. Totally satisfied.

Look at the ceiling. Food is coming. Standby... The food was awesome and the service exceptional (and vice versa) We wanted to come back but we were visiting from out of town and did not have time to return. Will definitely come back when visiting Green Bay again.

I can't say this about most restaurants but I can about bleu - I have never had a bad meal here. The burgers, and sliders, are well crafted and always done perfectly and almost always quench my burger craving. The steaks are some of the best in town hands down, always perfectly done and extremely tasty. Everything else in had, from salads to sandwiches at lunch, had between a step above most places you find in green bay.

Every time I have come here I've had an amazing experience! I love taking suggestions from our service staff, they had wonderful recommendations from the mixologist at the bar and with our food! Amazing charcuterie and cheese plate! My favorite dish has to be the crab cake sandwich! Never disappoints! I do miss the orange bleulius (tastes like an alcoholic orange Julius) on the drink menu! I also wanted to mention that they do have carry out available! Which is nice for my new crab cake sandwich cravings! Highly recommend and can't wait for the patio when it warms up!!

The Good: Food was very good and tasted fresh. Highly recommend the Goat Cheese cheesecake, it was delicious. The wine and cocktails were tasty too. The quality of the cocktails rival anywhere in the green bay area The Bad. The bartenders were good, but some of the staff was a little sloppy I thought. Nothing outrageous, just felt they were a lil' disorganized.

Very good meat and cheese platter...has smoked duck on it, phenomenal. Also had the lamb and the pork belly, the lamb was just good, but the pork belly was awesome!

Bleu is owned by the people who also own Chives, one of the most popular upscale restaurants in Green Bay (and Aaron Rodgers' favorite). It has quickly really popular - if you go without a reservation, be prepared to sit at the bar or the communal tables. We did sit at the communal tables our first visit and ran into our next door neighbors - but a Packer coach was at the next table, so who knows who you'll have dinner with? On our first visit, we had a few small plates, all of,which were excellent. On our second visit, we ordered the filet mignon special, which was presented over nicely seasoned creamed spinach and American fries. I had to send my filet back as it was nearly raw, and I asked for medium. But when it came out the second time it was perfectly cooked. Bleu has its own organic garden and I am confident my undercooked steak was just a part of growing pains. We are thrilled to have this outstanding restaurant in our neighborhood.

At a cost of $50 for lunch with one soup, one small plate, one large plate and one drink I would expect more. My wife had the flat bread ( this was good, but no bettter than what you get at Titletown and cost $4 more) I had the sesame chicken ( this was not good at all the noodle where cold and the chicken had an undercooked taste to them) the service was O.K. not great . For an upscale/expensive resaurant i would expect more. Wont go back
